Unless there were biting insects it looks a lovely place to spend an afternoon.Morning's Minionhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01912356455981434029noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4493398068080107368.post-58394895852365109222011-07-05T01:07:13.269-07:002011-07-05T01:07:13.269-07:00Lovely photos - love the bridge and the little ope...Lovely photos - love the bridge and the little open gate at the far side. I grew up in South Wales, and although we are lucky to be in reach of quite a lot of green space here in South London, I do miss the proper country.

Thanks so much for following my blog.Lakota [Faith Hope and Charity Shopping]https://www.blogger.com/profile/04247624645636227130noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4493398068080107368.post-87842218999821934082011-07-04T23:01:57.347-07:002011-07-04T23:01:57.347-07:00Yes. The New River is considered one of the oldest in the *world*(the name is misleading)and the headwaters is here in North Carolina. It was full of kayakers, canoers, people in innertubes and fly fishers. Hard to find a quiet area unlike what you found there.Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09268304194276808749noreply@blogger.com
