A special wilding tree


The deep red fruit from this old wilding tree are perfect, tiny apples in miniature. Red fruited trees have been used by generations of cottagers for crab apple jelly and wine. This one is still called "Jennie`s Tree" for one who harvested its fruit in years gone by.
