Just a few photos of Lucy, in her second week with us. Within days she was playing with the two boy cats and spends most of her time with them, although she still sleeps in a separate room. Old Grandma Cat just about tolerates her, but there has been some spitting and I don`t want to leave them alone at this stage!
Playing "Catch the tail" with the Ginger Man and a chair.
Hunting the ribbon.......
......in a blur.......
...now you see her...
...and now you don`t!

Gosh, it makes me wish for a kitten. But the three elderly cats who live here (16 and two 13-year olds) would absolutely go ballistic if one crossed the threshold. Anything for peace in the household even if it means forgoing a cute little face like Lucy's.
Those tabby markings are so beautifully classic.
I'm glad Lucy is settllng in. She appears happy and secure and well-loved.
It's great to have a kitten in the house! I adopted another stray earlier this year and she has really brought the 'old grumpies' together! They can't believe her nerve when she rubs up against them and then pinches their food!
How lovely, she looks very happy and confident.
She is gorgeous - tabbies are my favourite.
Beautiful kitty! I love tabbies, she looks very happy!
Lucy is so beautiful ...I LOVE grey tabby cats ...we have the normal with and without white but we do have a sandy one although she is getting darker as she ages.
Lovely Lucy! -- (sings, to a familiar tune) Lu-cy on the Flo-or with Ri-i-i-bbons -- LOL!
So glad she has made some friends.
I call the floor under my dining room table "The Forest of Chairs" -- a favorite hangout for my bunch -- They like to play "catch the tail" too.
Kittens are such fun. Lucy's face looks very much like the drawing I am doing for a friend of mine (kitten's name is Junie. I will be posting my recent drawings in a day or two -- maybe tomorrow. I finished one picture, with her eyes shut, the other one with those big yellow eyes wide open is almost done. Maybe I'll be able to get at it tomorrow night. Lucy looks adorable.
